This blog is all about the Industrial electrode used in industries. Here is a detailed explanation of the use of different electrodes. I had explained in an easy way so the student can remember for a long period of time.

Types of welding electrode used in sugar and chem industries

E6011: 
l deep penetration all-purpose rod.
l work on well on rusty metal.
l Hard to weld with low current

E6013:
l used for welding thinner metal.
l Shallow penetration and minimum spatter.
l General purpose electrode
l Weld in all positions

E7014:
l Low penetration
l High-speed rod
l Works on vertical welding
l Easy to use
l Used for low carbon steel

E7018:
l Used for high sulfur and high carbon steel
l Hard welding
E8018:
l Used for low carbon steel
l Hard to weld(160 amperes)
l Special for welding pipe
Nickle rod
l Metal with less heat
l Used for cast iron
l Soft weld( 90 amperes)

Sugar 80
l Used for arcing in TRPF teeth
